Goals
To be considered for an award from Health's Angels, the applying nonprofit organization must help older adults (60 years or older) maintain independence in their homes or communities of choice or improve or increase access to health-related services or health care among older adults.

Priorities
Health's Angels is currently prioritizing projects and programs that do at least one of the following:

• Assist consumers in "navigating the system" and provide older adults and their caregivers with detailed and good-quality information and referral.
• Reduce the loneliness and isolation experienced by some older adults.
• Increase the community's capacity to serve older adults in need by increasing the number of volunteers or enhancing the role of volunteers in this area.
